You can read everything on this site without an account, and we like it that way. Here is the entirety of what we collect and why.

What we collect

Reading pages: nothing personal. We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are read, without tracking you as an individual across the web.

If you write to us: we keep what you send for up to 90 days so we can act on it, then it is deleted.

Cookies: we use a small number of functional cookies — for example, to remember where you were reading, or (in a coming feature) to keep a candle you lit connected to your browser. These are not used to profile you.

Advertising

Parts of this site may display advertising, which helps keep Scripture free for everyone. Ad providers may use cookies subject to their own policies, and where required we will ask for your consent first. Ads never appear inside the Scripture reading column.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not require an account to read the Bible. We do not put prayer content into advertising systems.
